Sunflower sprouts have a very distinctive flavor that you'll recognize immediately. They are the largest sprouts we have available.
The properties are as follows:
- High iron content.
- Vitamins such as niacin from the B group are also present in significant amounts. This helps metabolize carbohydrates, fats, and proteins.
- It is recommended for its anti-inflammatory and anti-diabetic benefits.
- They help improve blood circulation.
Conservation
Store them in the refrigerator, preferably in a sealed glass container. If they're dry, they'll keep perfectly for 10 to 12 days. Placing a piece of kitchen paper at the bottom helps.
