Workshop: What does it mean to be happy?
Last Saturday the 26st, Sanus Market was filled with positive energy and reflection during the free workshop “What is being happy?”, masterfully taught by Ruth ValleIt was a special meeting designed exclusively for our clients, where we explored the true nature of happiness, its duration, and the paths that lead us to achieve it.
During the workshop, Ruth guided us through a profound understanding of how the cause and duration of our suffering depend not so much on external factors, but on our own inner world. Drawing on principles of introspection, meditation, and brain neuroplasticity, we learned that the key to achieving genuine happiness lies in understanding how our mind works and consciously cultivating our positive inner qualities.

The workshop content was structured around several key themes:
- Suffering as a shared experience: We understood that we all suffer, and that we often confuse momentary satisfaction with true happiness.
- The distortion of reality: Ruth explained that our attachment to external experiences and misperception of reality are primary sources of suffering.
- The social construction of the ego: We reflect on how constant self-affirmation and “clinging to the self” limit our inner freedom and growth.
- The power of conscious choice: We learned that we are capable of building our own reality through free and conscious choices, cleansing our minds of negative tendencies.
- Meditation and Wisdom: The importance of training our attention, detecting distorted mental patterns, and practicing meditation as an essential method for achieving lasting well-being was highlighted.
One of the most inspiring moments was when Ruth He explained to us, through examples such as the double-slit experiment explained by Dr. Quantum, how observed reality changes depending on the consciousness that perceives it. This idea reinforced the message that internal change is the key to transforming our life experience.
Thanks to all attendees who, with their active participation and enthusiasm, made this event a true success. Their openness to exploring new ideas and sharing personal experiences greatly enriched the meeting.
